The Challenge
The Kenyan market had been flooded with cheap condom imports an issue that caused huge consumer outcry with the available poor quality products. Consumer disaffection was further fuelled by the higher risk of exposure to HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
The Solution
We conducted an aggressive in-bar national campaign where we carried out 1-on- 1 consumer engagements with ”Jean & Jack”. Besides differentiating the key brand qualities, we also conducted live demo’s on proper condom usage and mobilised both consumer & retail sales drives.
The Results
Sales & market share growth by over 30%.
